Date: 2020-Jul-27, Monday 19:15 (UTC)I knew about the colonies (from the various colony drop memes), but everything other than that was vague--like, I knew there was a thing called Newtypes and that their existence was controversial in the fandom, but not actually what they were or why. I have some friends who are huge into Gunpla, so they might be able to provide me with earlier series without having to go searching too far afield.
