If you're even a little concerned about her language development, get put on a waiting list for early intervention *now*. Those waiting lists are long - the term "wait" is very apt! - and there's some weirdness about how they evaluate your kid based in part on their age when they were put on the list rather than when somebody gets around to testing them. And if she doesn't need the help, no harm done.
